Bag of Nails

 

Οι Bag of Nails είναι μια ψυχεδελική μπλουζ ροκ μπάντα με έδρα την Αθήνα. Πρόκειται για ένα δυναμικό τρίο, με έμφαση στον αυτοσχεδιαστικό χαρακτήρα του ροκ των 60's και 70's και του μπλουζ. Το συγκρότημα ξεκινάει την πορεία του το 2015 και κυκλοφορεί το πρώτο του demo το 2016. Από τότε μέχρι σήμερα πραγματοποιεί μια σειρά από Live εμφανίσεις με high-lights τόσο τις συναυλίες σε Six Dogs, Υπόγειο (Θεσσαλονίκη) όσο και τη συμμετοχή σε διάφορα φεστιβάλ ( B-Fest ,Hard as a Rock Fest, Φεστιβάλ Δάσους Αρβανίτσας). Παράλληλα δίνει διάφορες συνεντεύξεις σε ραδιόφωνα της χώρας (1055 RockFM, Στο Κόκκινο) με αποκορύφωμα το Live Session στην ΕΡΤ (Ροκ Συναναστροφές) το 2017. Το καλοκαίρι του 2018, οι Bag of Nails έλαβαν μέρος και απέσπασαν το πρώτο βραβείο στο Battle of the Bands στα πλαίσια του summERTime. Στις 22 Φεβρουαρίου του 2019 άνοιξαν τη συναυλία των θρυλικών Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash στο Κύτταρο και απέσπασαν εκπληκτικές κριτικές. Το πρώτο τους LP «The Wolf Inside Me», ηχογραφήθηκε live απ’ τον Simon Bloom και η μίξη έγινε απ’ τον Βασίλη Ν. Κορρέ στο Shakti Studio ενώ το master έγινε απ’ τον Βασίλη Ν. Κορρέ στο Sierra Studio. Το “The Wolf Inside Me” κυκλοφόρησε επισήμως από τη Nasoni Records (Berlin, DE), το Δεκέμβρη του 2019.

Bag of Nails are a psychedelic blues-rock trio from Athens, Greece. They are characterized by their improvisational style and inspired by the classic blues and rock sounds from the 60's and 70's. The songs that later became the basis of Bag of Nails were first written by Panos K. during his time at Mr. Delay and the Tallman (2012-2014). Bag of Nails started in 2015 and released their first demo in 2016. Up until now, they have performed live in various venues in Athens and other big cities in Greece. They have taken part in the "B-fest" festival (2016 and 2017) as well as the "Hard as a Rock" festival (vol. 1,2,3), performed live in Greece's national radio (Rock Synanastrofes, ΕRΤ), been interviewed at "1055 Rock FM" and "Sto Kokkino" and in the summer of 2018, won the battle of the bands at the national television's (ERT) summer festival "summERTime". On 22 of February 2019 they opened for the legendary Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash at Kyttaro Club in Athens and received great reviews. Their debut full length album “The Wolf Inside Me” was recorded live by Simon Bloom and mixed by Vasilis N. Korres at Shakti Studios in the summer of 2018. It was mastered by Vasilis N. Korres at Sierra Studios. “The Wolf Inside Me” has been officially released on vinyl by Nasoni Records (Berlin, DE) in December 2019.
